As the founder of "Yours InStyle," I bring a unique blend of cultural influences and educational background, having been born in Taiwan, educated at University of Southern California (USC) and Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandise (FIDM) in Los Angeles, and now proudly residing in Australia. Fashion has been a lifelong passion, and I consider myself a colour and fabric whisperer dedicated to guiding my clients toward achieving their style aspirations that resonate with their individuality and lifestyle. My approach is grounded in the concept of "enclothed cognition," which underscores how our clothing choices can profoundly affect our mindset and behavior, enhancing confidence and self-perception.

With nearly two decades of experience in fashion retail, product development, and personal styling, I specialise in curating looks for women of all sizes and ages. From 1995 to 2014, I operated specialty plus-size boutiques in Sydney, such as "Fuller Figure with Style" and "Amazing Look Studio." My expertise extends to styling for various occasions, particularly "mother of the bride" ensembles, as I believe that style transcends mere clothing; it’s about embodying a lifestyle and feeling empowered in what you wear.

My journey also led me to style for "Look Good and Feel Better," where I worked with cancer patients and volunteers, igniting my passion for supporting vulnerable individuals, including those facing domestic violence or recovering from illness. This personal connection drives my commitment to assisting pro bono clients in need. Throughout my career, I have developed a plus-size casual wear line crafted from organic cotton and launched the "Pure Art of Living Upcycled Collection," which champions sustainability through unique, handcrafted pieces.
